The event is organised in partnership with Coface Slovenia.
Where and when do we meet?
2nd CBAPowerTalk is hosted by Coface. We will emit the event from the Coface premises in Ljubljana on Tuesday, 6th June 2023 at 10 a.m. CET via Zoom.
Major challenges
Are you acquainted with the requirements of the new Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) that is enhancing the scope of the reporting requirements also to SMEs? Are you getting ready?
Are you familiar with the role that financial intermediaries will assume when the sustainable finance agenda is fully implemented across the EU?
What are the six environmental objectives of the EU Taxonomy, a fundamental rule book of the green finance? Is your company contributing to any of its objectives or at least “doing no significant harm” to the most of them?
We will discuss the changes of the Non-Financial Reporting Directive related to the implementation of the European Green Deal that aims to transform the EU into a modern, resource-efficient and competitive economy with zero net emissions of greenhouse gases by 2050. The financial sector is undertaking an important role in the implementation of the European Green Deal, what will profoundly influence firms’ relationships with banks, insurances and institutional investors.
Karin Huber-Heim, member of the CBA Faculty, is an experienced expert on sustainability and the finance sector. In her PowerTalk she will address these and other challenges arising from the emerging EU regulatory landscape, which business should be particular aware of. She will outline opportunities arising from this change and help participants gain insights into the emerging regulatory framework and consequently, adapt your risk management practices accordingly.
The CBAPowerTalk is hosted by Jurij Giacomelli, Founder of the Circular Business Academy.
